Former professional catcher. Second team all-conference. .400+ sophomore season at Garrett College. 40%+ caught stealing rate. Empire League champion – Malone Border Hounds. Championship playoff batting average: .380. Coached by the son of Hall of Famer Orlando Cepeda.
